The Power of “IF”

Today would have been,

could have been,

their 65th Wedding Anniversary…

IF, IF, IF.

with three “IF’s”, why do I even consider the thought of the possibility?

Each “IF” represents something big:

Divorce, Death of Father, Death of Mother, yet…

The divorce could have been prevented if…

My father’s death could have been prevented if…

My mother’s death could have been prevented if…

These three “prevention if’s” were relatively simple in comparison, very simple.

So rather than only looking clearly with hindsight, can I not also use that clarity with foresight?

When I make a decision

I shall strive to consider the importance of something so simple.
